I mean, all the snowdrops\/crocuses\/daffodils have sprung up in a rush which looks very pretty, but nothing else springs to mind ;)<\/p>

It happens every year, but we forget, and we step out into a beautifully sunny day only to be slapped in the face with a stiff wind chill that makes you reassess where you are going in life. I was only going up the road and I considered turning back. But I took this photo on my walk\u2026 can you believe it?<\/p>

I don't think the season of spring has ever been a quick or even linear process here. It feels more like the Cha-Cha Slide (DJ Casper) where if you think about it is a dance of no real progress, and sounds like everyone is desperately trying to keep warm:<\/p>

Do you know the song well enough to now have it going on repeat in your head? Excellent.<\/p>

When the 2nd spring finally comes (probably around May), I'm sure I'll spring out of my pocket sprung bed and spring into action like a spring chicken. But until then I'm going to slip on my slippers, let the housework slide and enjoy my hibernation a little longer.<\/p>
